Dr. Elisa Placidi is a committed Medical Physicist with a permanent position at Fondazione Policlinico Gemelli in Rome. She has extensive experience in radiotherapy and is deeply involved in the planning and optimization of both external beam and interventional radiotherapy treatments. In addition to her clinical responsibilities, she actively participates in scientific research and quality assurance activities. Dr. Placidi also lectures on medical physics and radiation protection at the Università Cattolica in Rome. She earned her Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Nottingham (UK), where she conducted research at the esteemed Sir Peter Mansfield Magnetic Resonance Centre.
