Cardiovascular Risks in Women

Cardiovascular disease is the primary cause of mortality in women, but it frequently goes undiagnosed. Women may present with non-classic symptoms, such as fatigue or jaw pain, complicating early diagnosis. Risk factors like pregnancy complications, early menopause, and autoimmune conditions increase vulnerability. Gender-specific screening and prevention strategies, including stress management and tailored medications, are now emphasized.
