Osteoporosis and Bone Health

Osteoporosis affects women disproportionately, especially after menopause due to estrogen decline. Bone density assessments, along with calcium and vitamin D supplements, as well as weight-bearing exercises, serve as preventive measures. Medications like bisphosphonates and newer monoclonal antibodies help strengthen bones and reduce fracture risk.
