We are delighted to present this Special Issue, "Gut Health in the Era of Precision Medicine: Emerging Research and Future Directions." The rapid evolution of microbiome science has fundamentally reshaped our understanding of the intricate relationships between the gut microbiota and human health. Advances in genomics, multi-omics technologies, artificial intelligence, and precision medicine are transforming our understanding of host–microbiome interactions and opening new approaches to disease prevention, diagnosis, and treatment.
By bringing together diverse perspectives from researchers and clinicians worldwide, this Special Issue aims to showcase high-quality original research, comprehensive reviews, and innovative perspectives that advance our knowledge of gut health in the context of precision medicine.
Submissions covering basic, clinical, and interdisciplinary research, such as host-microbiome interactions, microbiome-based biomarkers, personalized nutrition, microbial therapeutics, computational modeling, and cutting-edge precision medicine, are cordially welcomed from researchers and clinicians worldwide.
We hope this collection will inspire interdisciplinary collaboration, stimulate scientific discussion, and contribute to the development of evidence-based strategies that improve human health through precision microbiome research.
