Dermatology and Mental Health

The relationship between dermatology and mental health is the most clearly illustrated in the chronic skin disorders and its implications dermatological illness and skin conditions. Chronic skin diseases such as psoriasis, acne, and eczema are widely recognized for the burden and the intereaction with mental illnesses of the patients. Due to the stress, mental disturbances can impact dermatological symptoms and conditions of the patient. Therefore, understanding the implications of the disorders is necessary for early screening and interventions. These keywords fully encompass the concepts of cohesive models in clinical practice.
