Manuscript Submission Process

Phase 1: Preparation before Submission

• Preparing Your Manuscript: Your manuscript should be structured in accordance with any specific submission requirements requested by the journal and be appropriately validated.
• Assembly Your Author Details: Corresponding author details should be gathered.
• Come Up with Your Abstract and Keywords: A plain text version of the abstract and a keyword list of around 3-6 should be prepared.

Phase 2: Completing the Online Submission Form

Step A: Journal Name Verification

• Journal Name: Pending input, the journal you are submitting will show a default value.
• Please confirm that you are submitting to Oncology Therapeutics and Drug Development (JODD)

Step B: Details of the Corresponding Author

• Title: Use the dropdown list to select one title (Dr., Prof., Ms., Mr., etc.).
• First Name (Mandatory): Input the first name in legal terms of the author who is holding the primary correspondence
• Last Name (Mandatory): Input the surname/family name of the relevant author.
• Country (Mandatory): Choose the Country where the author resides based on the offered list.
• Email (Mandatory): Enter a validated email that is checked frequently. This is the email all editorial communications will be addressed to.
• Phone Number (Mandatory): Provide a direct contact number. Be sure to include the country code, i.e. +1-XXX-XXX

Step C: Manuscript Details

• Title: Type the full title of your manuscript without using abbreviations or non-standard abbreviations.
• Article Type: From the dropdown menu, select the category that best fits your manuscript, which may be a Research Article, Review, Case Report, or Commentary.
• Issue Type : Select either Regular Issue or Special Issue, and if Special Issue, please indicate the title of the Special Issue.
• Classifications: Select the primary domain of your manuscript.
• Suggest Classification (If necessary): If none of the options best fit, select other, and type in the appropriate subject area you think fits best.
• Abstract: Paste the complete text of your abstract in the text box provided. Make sure that you have no formatting, no images, no special characters, and no white space in your abstract.
• Keywords: Type in no less than 3 or more than 6 keywords or key phrases, and separate them using a comma.
• Review Process Type: Select your Review Process Track:
  • Regular Process: Has the default peer-review duration.
  • Fast Editorial Review Process : Tries to attain an initial decision in around 10 days. Select this if absolutely necessary, and after considering the related conditions.

Step D: File Upload

• Attach Your Manuscript File (Required): Click the upload icon to submit your manuscript file.
• This program will accept PDF, DOC, and DOCX.
• 5 MB is the largest file we can receive.
• Make sure you have loaded the last and most up-to-date version of your manuscript.

Phase 3: Submissions and Official Confirmation

• Please ensure that all entered details reflect the appropriate information and no mistakes are made, and then submit the form.

A confirmation message will appear on the screen, and the corresponding author will receive an automated email. The email acts as an acknowledgment for your submission and will provide a manuscript ID for your records.

Note: Finalizing all funding information is an essential prerequisite prior to invoice generation and the payment of the Article Processing Charge (APC). Once the APC payment has been completed, the manuscript officially advances into its final production stage; at this critical point, funding details are permanently locked and cannot be modified as a matter of standard editorial policy.
