Targeted Protein Degradation PROTACs

Targeted protein degradation using PROTACs is an emerging therapeutic strategy that eliminates disease-causing proteins rather than merely inhibiting them. PROTAC molecules recruit the cell’s natural degradation machinery to tag harmful proteins for destruction. This approach is highly effective for “undruggable” targets that traditional therapies cannot block. PROTACs offer stronger, longer-lasting responses with lower drug doses. As research advances, they are becoming a promising platform for developing next-generation cancer therapies with greater precision and potency.
