Lan Zhang is an associate professor at the West China School of Stomatology, Sichuan University. Her research interests are the pathogenesis, diagnosis, and treatment strategy of endodontic diseases, especially the influence of systemic diseases, such as diabetes, on apical periodontitis. Besides, she is also interested in the application of artificial intelligence in dentistry. She hosted two National Natural Science Foundations (China) and authored more than 30 peer-reviewed scientific articles in the Journal of Dental Research, the Journal of Endodontics, and the International Endodontic Journal.
