Copyright Retention

Authors retain full copyright over their published work. Upon acceptance, the journal is granted a non-exclusive license to publish, archive, and disseminate the article in all formats and media. This license allows the journal to distribute the work while authors preserve ownership and the freedom to reuse their content in future publications, institutional repositories, or academic works, provided proper citation of the original publication is maintained. Detailed terms will be outlined in the post-acceptance license agreement.

Licensing

• Creative Commons Licensing: All articles are published under an appropriate Creative Commons (CC) license most commonly CC BY which enables broad reuse, distribution, and adaptation of the work, provided proper attribution is given. Authors may select from alternative CC licenses where permitted by journal policy or specific project requirements.
• Funder and Institutional Mandates: If authors are supported by agencies that require a specific open-access license or public access policy, they must indicate this at the time of submission. The journal will ensure that publication complies with applicable funder mandates wherever possible.

Permissions & Third-Party Material

Authors are responsible for securing written permission for any copyrighted or third-party material included in the manuscript such as previously published figures, extended quotations, datasets, or proprietary content. Proof of permission must be submitted during the review process. All third-party materials must be clearly attributed in figure captions, footnotes, or the reference list, along with a statement confirming that permission has been obtained where required.

Corrections, Updates & Retractions

The journal is committed to maintaining accuracy, transparency, and integrity in the scholarly record. If significant errors, omissions, or ethical concerns are discovered after publication, the journal may issue the appropriate corrective action:

• Corrections (Erratum or Corrigendum): Issued when minor errors are identified that do not affect the overall validity of the research but require clarification or correction. Authors will be consulted before the issuance of any correction notice.
• Retractions: In cases involving serious errors, unreliable findings, ethical breaches, or confirmed research misconduct (including plagiarism, fabrication, or falsification), the journal may retract the article. Retractions adhere to internationally recognized guidelines, including those outlined by the ICMJE and COPE, and are applied only when the integrity or conclusions of the work are significantly compromised.

All correction or retraction notices are published openly, linked to the original article, and permanently available to uphold transparency in the academic record.
