The Globalmeetx Review Workflow

Our efficient, author-friendly workflow is designed for clarity and speed from submission to dissemination.

Submission & Initial Screening: Authors submit their manuscript via our modern online portal. Our in-house editorial team performs a preliminary assessment to ensure the manuscript aligns with the journal's scope, formatting requirements, and ethical standards:

• Alignment with the journal's scope and academic aims
• Compliance with basic formatting and ethical standards
• Originality and novelty (screened by advanced plagiarism detection tools)
• Outcome: Suitable manuscripts advance. Others are returned promptly with a constructive "desk rejection" explanation.

Editor Assignment

A dedicated Section Editor, a recognized specialist in the subject area, is appointed to steward the manuscript through the process. They are responsible for orchestrating the review and rendering the final decision.

Peer Reviewer Selection

The Section Editor identifies and invites a minimum of two independent peer reviewers possessing specific expertise relevant to the manuscript's topic. Reviewers are meticulously vetted to ensure no conflicts of interest and to guarantee a diverse, global perspective.

Double-Anonymized Review

Reviewers assess the manuscript without knowledge of the authors' identities, and authors are unaware of the reviewers'. Evaluations are based on:

• Methodology & Reproducibility: Is the approach scientifically sound, ethical, and clearly described for replication?
• Validity & Analysis: Are the conclusions robust and fully supported by the data and analysis?

• Reviewers provide comprehensive, confidential comments to the editor and constructive, actionable feedback for the author.

Editorial Decision

The Section Editor synthesizes the reviews and makes one of four determinations:

• Accept: A manuscript may be accepted for publication though this outcome is rare after the initial round of review and typically follows successful revisions.
• Minor Revisions: Required amendments are straightforward and limited in scope.
• Major Revisions: The manuscript shows high potential but necessitates substantial revision or additional analysis.
• Reject: The manuscript is declined due to fundamental flaws in methodology, insufficient novelty, or other critical concerns.

Author Revision

Authors receive the anonymized reviewers' reports and are invited to revise their manuscript. A detailed, point-by-point response must accompany the resubmission, documenting how every comment was addressed.

Final Evaluation

The revised manuscript and author responses are evaluated by the Section Editor. Revised manuscripts may be sent back to the original reviewers for re-evaluation, ensuring that all concerns have been adequately addressed. Once all critiques are satisfactorily resolved, a final acceptance decision is made.

Production & Publication

Accepted articles enter our professional production pipeline, featuring copyediting, typesetting, and proofreading. Authors approve the final gallery proofs before their work is published online with a permanent DOI and Crossref registration, ensuring immediate global visibility, broad dissemination, and rapid indexing.
