Dr. V. Giriprasad is a Research Scientist at the Central Advanced Research Laboratory, Believers Church Medical College Hospital, Kerala, India. He completed his PhD in Biochemistry from SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai. His doctoral research focused on the serological prevalence of Celiac Disease and HLA-DQ genotypes in the Indian population.

He previously served as Post-Doctoral Fellow and Projects Coordinator at AIIMS Bhubaneswar under the Center of Excellence for Clinical Microbiome Research (CCMR), where he led and coordinated multiple microbiome, nutrigenomics, and clinical interventional studies funded by national and international agencies including the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

His work integrates microbiome research, nutraceutical interventions, host genetics, and immunological profiling in gastrointestinal and metabolic disorders.
