Dr. Govindan Rajamohan is a Chief Scientist at CSIR–Institute of Microbial Technology (IMTECH), Chandigarh, and Professor at the Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research (AcSIR). With over 31 years of academic and research experience, his work focuses on antimicrobial resistance (AMR), multidrug efflux systems, bacterial signaling pathways, and microbiome research. He has made significant contributions to understanding resistance mechanisms in critical ESKAPE pathogens and has successfully translated research into licensed industrial technologies. He has authored over 30 peer-reviewed publications, holds multiple international patents, and actively serves on editorial boards of leading journals.
