Harwinder Singh is currently working as a Professor in ME and PE Dept. at Guru Nanak Dev
Engineering College, Ludhiana. He has a vast experience of 26 years in teaching and research
field.
Professional Qualifications:-
B.E. (Mechanical) from Punjabi University, Patiala in 1997.
M.Tech. Mech. (Prod.) from PTU, Jalandhar in 1999.
MBA from IGNOU, Delhi in 2004.
Ph.D from Punjabi University, Patiala in 2010.
Research:-
Published more than 200 research papers in various reputed national and international journals
and conferences.
Coordinated 8 research projects of worth Rs. One crore
Guided more than 60 students in their M.Tech thesis, 15 PhD scholars successfully
Published 7 books and monograms related to Mechanical Engg.
Three copy rights have been awarded from Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Department of
Industrial Policy and Promotion, New Delhi.

Awarded with many awards like ISTE, New Delhi Best Teacher Award of Punjab State in year
2013, Dr. R L Aggarwal Award in Punjab Academy of Sciences in year 2017, UGC Research
Award for the Year 2014-16, Best Paper Award in 2008, 2018, and 2019 and AICTE Best
Teacher Award in the Year 2021.
