Dr. Anwesha Banerjee is a Scientific Writer and Editor with specialized expertise in molecular biology, virology, and infectious diseases. She earned her Ph.D. in Biotechnology from Savitribai Phule Pune University, India, and has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications in high-impact journals, including Frontiers in Immunology, Viruses, and Vaccines (Basel). Her research spans molecular epidemiology, host–virus interactions, and vaccine design, with contributions that include a filed patent on a novel pharmaceutical composition for treating HIV and HSV infections. Dr. Banerjee has served as a peer reviewer for Elsevier – Journal of Traditional and Complementary Medicine and Frontiers in Immunology, and contributed to editorial writing for MDPI – Viruses.
