Ugochukwu O. Maluze was born on 10th December 1981 in Nigeria. He has completed his bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory science at Ebonyi State University, Abakaliki Nigeria. He has also completed his postgraduate qualifications on M.Sc. degrees on Biomedical Science (London Metropolitan University, UK), Biomedical Engineering (University of Bedfordshire, UK) and Public Health Advanced (Torrens University Australia). He will be commencing his PhD studies by 1st March 2026; and the PhD thesis is ‘‘Breast cancer detection: optimising assessment of women recalled for breast cancer screening’’.
He has an active membership with the European Hematology Association, British Society of Hematology, American Society of Clinical Pathology, Health Care and Professional Council UK, Association of Medical Laboratory Science council of Nigeria, and currently hold an affiliate membership with the Australian Institute of Medical and Clinical Scientist (AIMS).
He has published three articles’ journals on ‘‘Erythrocyte micro vesiculations in health and diseases’’ and ‘‘Risk factors affecting the prevalence of breast cancer among females aged 40-69 years in Australia’’, and Regulation of muscle contractions and how mutations in the muscle proteins causes heart diseases’’
