Scope and Mission

Journal of Cardiology (jcsc) is an international, peer-reviewed journal committed to the advancement of knowledge and research across a broad spectrum of Cardiology disciplines. The journal provides a platform for high-quality publications in the fields of Cardiac electrophysiology, Cardiomyopathies, Vascular inflammation, Echocardiography, Coronary artery disease, Cardiac biomarkers, Hypertensive heart disease. jcsc welcomes scientifically rigorous contributions that offer novel insights, foster interdisciplinary dialogue, and demonstrate clinical or theoretical relevance in advancing the Cardiology.

Manuscript Submission Process

Authors are invited to submit manuscripts via the official online submission portal or directly through email at editor@globalmeetx.net. Upon receipt, the corresponding author will receive a unique manuscript identification number within three (3) business days for tracking and future correspondence.

Compliance with Public Access Policies

In compliance with the NIH Public Access Policy, jcsc submits NIH-funded articles to PubMed and PubMed Central upon publication. This compliance extends to research funded by the UK Research Councils and the European Union, facilitating open accessibility and transparency in biomedical research dissemination.


Editorial and Peer Review Process

All manuscripts undergo a structured editorial assessment followed by rigorous double-blind peer review. The journal publishes a diverse range of article types, including original research, comprehensive reviews, instructive case reports, expert commentaries, and methodological innovations. Authors are encouraged to enhance their manuscripts with relevant figures, illustrations, and tabular data to improve interpretability.

  • Commentaries: Short, thought-provoking perspectives on emerging issues or recent literature (1000 to 1800 words)
  • Methodological Articles: Introduce or refine experimental or clinical research methodologies
  • Letters to the Editor: Address published articles or discuss relevant observations and critiques (500 to 1000 words)
  • Editorials: (900 to 1200 words)

Submission Requirements and Formatting Guidelines

Required Documents:

  • Title Page (DOC format): Title, full author names, institutional affiliations, and corresponding author contact details
  • Main Manuscript (DOC): Include tables (under two pages each) placed at the end
  • Figures: Submit high-resolution figures separately in JPG, PNG, PPT, or DOC/DOCX (minimum 300 dpi)
  • Cover Letter (DOC): Summarize the manuscript's significance, relevance to jcsc, and declare any conflicts of interest
  • Suggested Reviewers: Provide full names and professional emails for two potential reviewers, free of conflicts of interest or recent collaborations

Disclosures and Acknowledgments

  • Acknowledgments: Clearly state contributions by individuals not listed as authors; prior written consent must be obtained
  • Funding Disclosure: Identify all funding agencies with complete names and grant identifiers, where applicable
  • Conflict of Interest Statement: Disclose any financial, institutional, or personal relationships that could be perceived as influencing the research, or explicitly declare "None to report"

Figures, Tables, and Supplementary Materials

  • Tables: Must be numbered consecutively (e.g., Table 1, Table 2), formatted using MS Word's built-in table function, and placed at the manuscript's end
  • Figures: Submit as separate files with descriptive captions included within the manuscript text (not embedded in image files)
  • Supplementary Material: May include extended datasets, appendices, or multimedia, submitted as a single consolidated PDF

Reference Style and Citations

  • Use numbered in-text citations in square brackets: [1], [2], etc.
  • List all authors if six or fewer; for more than six, list the first six followed by et al.
  • Only include published or in-press works; unpublished data and personal communications are not permitted in the reference list

Formatting Requirements

  • Language: English only
  • Layout: Double-spacing, justified margins, one-column format
  • Keywords: Provide 3-10 keywords below the abstract

Editorial Assessment and Revision Process

All manuscripts submitted to the Journal of Cardiology (jcsc) undergo an initial screening by the editorial team to assess their alignment with the journal's scope, quality standards and ethical compliance. Only those submissions that meet the preliminary criteria (approximately 70% of all manuscripts) are forwarded for external peer review.

Authors whose manuscripts require revision will receive a detailed decision letter outlining the reviewers' feedback. Revisions must be submitted within 7 days from the date of notification. Extensions may be granted under exceptional circumstances upon written request to the editorial office.

Failure to submit revisions within the stipulated time frame may result in the withdrawal of the manuscript from consideration.


Proofing and Final Publication

Once a manuscript is accepted, the corresponding author will receive galley proofs in PDF format via email for final review. Authors are expected to carefully check for typographical, formatting or factual errors. No major content changes including data or author list modifications will be permitted at this stage.

Hard copies of the published article are available upon request. Authors may contact the editorial office to arrange print copies for institutional or personal use.


Article Processing Charges (APCs) and Publication Policy

The Journal of Cardiology (jcsc) operates as an independent, open-access publication committed to ensuring the timely dissemination of high-quality scientific research without barriers to readership. To support the journal's editorial operations, peer review infrastructure, digital archiving, indexing, and global access initiatives, an Article Processing Charge (APC) is applied only upon acceptance of a manuscript. There are no submission or review fees prior to the acceptance stage.
