Editorial Oversight of the Journal

The editorial team upholds the highest standards of integrity, objectivity, and confidentiality in managing the journal's review and publication process. Key responsibilities include:

  • Final Decision-Making: Making well-informed and impartial publication decisions based on the outcomes of rigorous peer review, ensuring that each manuscript is evaluated on its scientific quality and relevance.
  • Unbiased Evaluation: Assessing submissions solely on the basis of academic merit, without discrimination based on the authors' gender, race, ethnicity, religion, nationality, or political beliefs
  • Confidentiality Assurance: Safeguarding the confidentiality of all submitted materials, including manuscript content, author and reviewer identities, and all editorial communications throughout the review process.

Standard Editorial Workflow for Manuscript Processing

  1. Initial Submission : The corresponding author submits the manuscript.
  2. Registration : Manuscript details are logged, and a unique identifier is assigned.
  3. Acknowledgement : The author receives a confirmation within 72 hours.
  4. Scope Assessment : The editorial team verifies alignment with the journal's aims.
  5. Assignment : Upon submission, the Editor-in-Chief assigns the manuscript to an appropriate section editor or assistant editor based on subject relevance and expertise.
  6. Article Classification : Categorization by type (e.g., review, research article, case report, expert opinion).
  7. Preliminary Evaluation : Screening for originality and plagiarism.
  8. Reviewer Selection : Identification and assignment of at least three impartial reviewers.

    • In cases of conflicting reviews, a discussion is initiated among reviewers, the Editor-in-Chief, and the Managing Editor.
    • The ultimate decision—whether to accept, request revisions, or reject the manuscript—is made collaboratively, with input from the editorial board to ensure fairness, academic rigor, and alignment with the journal's standards.
  11. Possible Editorial Decisions:
    • Accept as Is : Minor errors may remain but do not hinder publication.
    • Accept with Minor Revisions : Requires adjustments without further review.
    • Revise and Resubmit : Substantial revisions needed; resubmission within six months retains original handling.
  12. Reject : Manuscript is out of scope, lacks novelty, or requires significant restructuring for reconsideration.
  13. Author Notification : The Managing Editor or Editor-in-Chief communicates the decision.
  14. Post-Acceptance Process :
    • Formatting, DOI assignment, and copyediting within seven days.
    • Galley proof generation and author approval.
    • Online publication with volume, issue, and year designation.
    • Archiving in relevant databases.
